I think the disco is the best street turbo overall. But they are pricey. You won't lose much response over the BB T25. Maybe gain some???

The T28 would get you up to your injector's max output, and would feel great though.

I would have to say if you could find a used disco potato for bout half price on a new one it would prob be the best turbo for a 300-320 hp car, best response and perfect for getting 300 hp easily.

the s15 turbo is going to be simular to the disco potato, the potato might have slightly better spool, but they both have about the same output power around 320hp around 270whp efficently.

I've always heard the opposite. The s15 spools quicker but the DP makes more power. I have the s15 for the pure fact that I can get one all day long for $700 brand new. The DP your looking at $1k.

Wouldn't the S15 be more common then as a used item?

I wont even look twice if the turbo costs $500, too much money for me to spend on the car again.

^I agree get the 2871r. It's not that pricey used. If so, then save save save! Get what you want. I'll have a SC6262 before I know it.

^^ you need a SC6262? when you come up to tap Vadim, we can work out a deal. I have 2 of them, planned to put it on the vette but didn't realize we still have more room with the GT32's.

LOL 108 posts on switching from a t25 to a t28? Vadim, just do it... its not going to break the bank. If you are worried about price I'll likely have one of the ones I own for sale by the 8th when the egg is parted. I will sell it for 350, and if worst comes to worst you could sell your t25 to make up for it. just use your j-pipe and you are good.

My personal opinion would be to keep your t25 since its a daily. You like scooting around and being in boost. I know that's counterproductive of me selling my turbo, but I'm just being honest. If you are truly wanting more power, and are on a budget go GTIR. Done.
