You should be surprised how well the t25 really is.

unless you are old and girly and want a stock idle.

^He likes the stock idle. I tried to talk him into getting BC2's awhile back, but he said he didnt' want to loose torque.

i would go with a holset turbo, go big or go home. For the price and power they make its just madness

Yes. About 450 WHP or so on pump gas.

I can see it happening with a DET block with 91 DE cams (like Vadim has), GT3076R turbo at 21 psi. Should be fine with pump gas from what I've seen.

i say stay t25 if you want to keep traction in 2nd. i think i had more fun with my t25 around town driving but will see, i haven't had much expirience with the big turbo yet.

I keep traction in 2nd (easily) with a 300 WHP T28. It can be done.

Oh you miss understood my post, I was trying to find more information on the turbo that came with W11's. The link seems to be pretty identical to what I currently have.

I predict a T28 is his future if anything at all.

I would never buy a brand new turbo for a car/motor that has 50+k miles. Only if I do a complete rebuild, even then I would just rebuild the turbo.

There is a reason why you can say I'm the budget king. I don't make a lot of money, and then I like being able to afford food, plus my wife has spending needs to.

A bigger turbo is nice, more powa yay, but when a car becomes not street usable, then I have to shell out money in it every time I go to the race track, etc.

Cams costs like $400 for 25whp. GTiR around $400 for way more power

I've heard about holset before, do they only make huge turbo's?

I agree with you on that, I think if I go with a T28, then lower boost levels .

I personally love your build because of that. Right now you have a little more torque then I do. That means you are not breaking your transmission, clutch and tires.

Don't get me wrong guys I LOVE torque, but right now I'm pretty much at the level that's good enough. It is enough to give a good gut feeling to my passengers, and it's not killing my transmission and requiring special tires.

So goal would be 250-300whp with 250 ft-lbs of torque tops.
