Thread: t25 wastegate issue

so i had my t25 on factory boost 7psi, and then i wanted more i bought a forge boost controller (manual). After coming home from like a 5hr drive, i try to install it. I install it just like instruction tell me, go for a drive and it it makes over 15psi, so i was like ok maybe to high so i turn the negative counterclockwise untill is cant go anymore.... this should be zero(factory). then i go for another drive and still same things, its like the wastegate is closed. So then i take it off and i give the wastegate its own vacume and still same thing.. tomorrow i will vacume test the wastegate and see.

has anyone had this problem.. i am going to track friday if my wastegate it pooched i cant go

will a wastegate off a sr20det rwd motor work like the hks ones or no, a direct swap

how do you have it installed?

the wastegate yes and boostcontroller no i put it back to factory hopeing it would go back to 7psi

i am sry how not what... I installed the boost controller right after i drove home from store about 30-40min drive. After install i went for drive and instantly overboostin. so i took it off and put it back to stock and still overboostin
