Q45 TB TPS install
Okay i got an o2 induction with a q45 and im having problems wiring in the tps. Starts up good and takes off to 3k then to 5k so that points to the tps. I got a tps plug off a q30 and it plugs in and everything now I just need to know how to splice the wires.

TIA
Alex

For those of you that are curious,

I talked with Alex and sorted out his issues. There is an adjustment screw on the Q45 Throttle Body that needs adjustment.

His idle would hunt a little at 3K and jump to 5K where it would sit. Just adjust the screw until you get the idle where you want it (can be adjusted with the car running). I'm not 100% sure, but IIRC the screw adjusts the throttle plate. Once you set the TPS voltage, you can then adjust idle with this screw. It doesn't replace the IACV, though I've been told that several have ditched the IACV and adjusted this screw in order to set idle.

Is this on a highport or lowport? I'm looking into getting one of these.

^Cool . I guess if the motor is in the car it will be hard to get shots from the bottom. I'll take what you post.

Thanks,MR

Dont really need anything from the bottom. All it has is a harness that you plug into and that little screw to open and close the plate a little or open it a little.

The adjustment screw sits directly underneath the throttle actuator arm.
