Fuel Mileage
I ve been staying out of Boost here lately trying to get the best MPG possible with my GA16DET. I have gotten a best so far of 35.3MPG and is not 100% highway miles. What kind of Mileage are you Turbo SR guys getting when you stay out of the throttle??

I never stay out of throttle but with my 50lbs msd's I see **** gas mileage with more **** mileage. If I had to guess I get around 12 mpg but I have two cars so when I drive my turbo car I ****in drive the car.

i run 72lbs and i get good gas milage it really is all about how your car is tuned and what its tuned for, most of the time i get a turbo car tuned with a off boost air fuel setting more of the leaner side but safe, makes for good driving and better gas mileage.

I get about 23-26mpg 95% city depending on how I drive it.
Usually flogging it enough to see the gas gauge move once in a while.

Also, my MAF is incorrect for this car and I got to 100% injector duty cycle at 4500rpm under WOT. That alone accounts for a huge loss.

If your getting that bad MPG its dont sound like its running up to par. If this is the race car with 230hp. even when i boost 14psi im getting better than that.

Here lately i have only been using 8psi which is helping fuel mileage by not boosting 14psi like i always have, just cuz profec-b has stopped working properly. I also have the 1st USDM trans ive ever used in my turbo GA since i ve had turbo. i was only getting around 31mpg with the JDM trans. A 500rpm drop in 5th at 60mph is what is helping my MPG.

1.6se-r, you got those numbers because the GA just gets better gas mileage altogether. I mean small displacement motor, when out of boost should get you good numbers just like it would stock.

I've been getting 20/29. But thats going into boost a bit, even when on the highway. I'm working on fixing some random leaks and other little details, then well see what it does

who's worried about gas mileage with a boosted vehicle?

I drive the piss out of mine and I get about 15 miles per gallon, I dont know what it's like not to enter boost, and frankly, I dont want to know

Those of us who still drive their cars daily and or semi daily. I don't believe in a car taking room in my garage, paying insurance, paying registration fees and taxes, to only drive it once every few weeks. Or better yet a car that cannot leave the trailer.

I have a P11, which is my wife's car, but we drive it daily and I would love for it to be boosted because in traffic areas it would be awesome, otherwise you have to make sure you have a 1 mile gap before you pull out into traffic
