headstuds
i have been doing some research about the different types of headstuds available for the avenir motor.. And have not really come across anything with enough meat (info)...

i want too replace the headstuds on my avenir but i am not looking for huge power some say buy ARP or Mazworks my question is where do i find the OEM headstuds or are they headbolts???

and would using head studs rather then headbolts have a better torquing advantage???

I am looking for some advice let me know what you have tried and what works any info is appreciated!!!!!

thank you...

ok i searched and it took me all of about 30 seconds to find two huge threads that deal all about the different headstud options out there. Yes headstuds are better for higher hp build and put more pressure around the cylinders and coolant ports than oem headbolts would do.

Here is a thread and there is another thread titled Headstud Comparison if you search that as key words it should be the first thread.

Im using the Golden Eagles and i love them. They are strong, proven, and cheap headstuds. They are for the Honda B16A Vtec motors. Do not, do not use ARP, You will regret it im sure.
