ud very surprised at how well a vented hood pulls heat from the engine bay and drops over all temps.

try the hood first, youll be glad you did.

it was a night and day difference with my evo 8 hood vent. if you do it right it looks pretty dang good as far as vents are concerned. it not only keeps your underhood temps down, it keeps your intake temps, your charge piping temps and your coolant temps way down.

Trust me, i drove my car daily last summer with 20psi and my civic dual core half width radiator and one 1250cfm flexalite fan during 120 degree summer days with zero issues and underhood temps stayed way way down. Never even saw coolant temps into the 200's.

Needless to say that was also with a mezier electric water pump and no thermostat as well. Fan on at all times with the ignition.

Venting from the hood is a big plus, I have had it vented for 6 years and it's the best thing I did. My a/c worked much better and the heat was night and day, before you would feel the fenders super hot and the hood you could not touch or you would get burned, after raising the hood in the back and adding a vent the fenders were good and the hood was warm.

Well I cant wait to get home so I can drive the monster this car is be comming a little more before it comes down for the winter .....I hope to finish upgrade to the fuel system , and possibly add the water injection or due a second map on E85 .....I know this turbo can due 700+whp on E85 , I would like to see it on the NX before I call it done , at the minimum I want to see the 600+whp range since it has done around 518whp on 18psi on the down state dyno jet , so more boost and better fuel or meth or alky injection should get it there ......I also want some custom spark plug wires that are bigger and handle more current then the modded stock ones I am running ......I think this fall I am going to have a small garage sale of sorts , to get some room back in my garage and prep for my impending move next spring /early summer , so my spare built block will be going as well as some other stuff .....since I will probaly never use it ....

nice man, I would just do C16 man. Its been used for a long long time and still used on the highest hp hondas out there without water meth. 600-700whp is not a problem with the setup your running and just using straight up c16 in the tank.

Whats your plan for the fuel system upgrade?

I plan on sumping the tank , and using a duel external walbro setup ....or just add a external bosch 044 to the current setup ....the later being more simple

would love to hear about the meth injection.

i think thats in the plans for me in the future, possibly early spring of 2011.

got any brands or info or opinions do post them up bro !

my goal isnt really to gain power from the meth injection system im more intrested in keeping down temps under boost.

keep up the good work bro !!
