it was a night and day difference with my evo 8 hood vent. if you do it right it looks pretty dang good as far as vents are concerned. it not only keeps your underhood temps down, it keeps your intake temps, your charge piping temps and your coolant temps way down.
Trust me, i drove my car daily last summer with 20psi and my civic dual core half width radiator and one 1250cfm flexalite fan during 120 degree summer days with zero issues and underhood temps stayed way way down. Never even saw coolant temps into the 200's.
Needless to say that was also with a mezier electric water pump and no thermostat as well. Fan on at all times with the ignition.
