Yeah I was having the same issues on the dyno.....kept spinning the tires at high boost......when you really gonna rev that beast out. Im running around 18-19psi and making 460whp right now....We did not go really crazy in the timing department either.....I really would like to get these two NX's together. I just put my new ignition on and we have a few ideas about how to minimize the spinning issues on the dyno. But 600+whp is just around the corner for me.....I just don't have that crazy nissan vvl on my side
Keep us updated. Should be fun. But you really can kiss traction goodbye, although the boost per gear does help. I was spinning at 100mph on the street....fun stuff!

nice cant wait to see some more solid numbers after you get everything straightened out and rev it out.

Yeah nothing like being in 4th gear at around 5k rpm and just punch it and just pound the limiter spinning to 135mph. Thats how it was for me on 30psi. Even 5th gear was trying to break loose at 145-150.

I dont have a road that open around here ...nearest freeway is like 30 min away ...all back country roads by the woods or farm fields full of deer

are you using the aem/traction/transmission setup to limit the gear to boost ratios?

Yeah there is no way i would do that on a county road that has deer everywhere. You have already hit enough deer this year man, haha. Sucks.

It doesnt take me long to hit that speed. I dont even need a mile to hit my rev limiter in 5th which is about 182mph which ive done once and gps'd 170 at about 7500rpm's in 5th. Again no time at all.

The time i hit the limiter it snuck up on me soo quick since i was watching the road and bam, i looked down and my speedo was on the peg for a good couple seconds even after i started to slow down. haha

But again this was on a brand new freshly paved 2 lane highway here with nobody else around. No way i would do it anywhere else.

Cant wait to see some even better numbers man. Your build has been a fun one to watch. Seeing you swipe up all the good parts in the forced induction section.

The car spins hard on the dyno. We ended up with a little over 400WHP at 7500rpm and well over 300WTQ at 20psi. These numbers are far from accurate based on the amount of wheel spin on the street and especially the dyno. Solid traction on the street doesn't happen on the street until over 90mph...

I can't wait to re-dyno with a 9000rpm redline, sticky tires, and pump gas topped off with race gas. We should see some crazy numbers based on how things are going thus far with the initial tune.

I'm sure Eric will check in soon, I just wanted to update you all.

Glad our cars at least don't weigh much. Think if you had a 400whp FWD 4000lb car? That thing would be pretty slow and useless w/all the wheel spin that goes with it.

I have a 2871 coming but I'm starting to like my T25 @ 12 lbs and S4's. It's fun! Hopefully the 2871 is as fun to drive as a DD.

Glad your car is up and running good traction issues aside. LOL

The 2871's are fun to drive as well but a bit laggy compared to the t25 of course. You dont get that instant boost/wheelspin at low r's. Still one of my favorite turbos. If i change from the ihi turbo i have i will prob go with a 2871r again for the 3rd time. LOL

You will love it!!! The .86 is a little laggier than my stock gtir but not too bad. I think the .64 would have been more fun on the street tho.
