Yeah but yours is a hell of a lot lighter ....it would be interesting at the dragstrip or in the standing mile ...

When does it hit full boost?Nice setup. You can make 600 easily with that setup.I dont know why you sound not to confident in breaking in the 500.

Well she is running again ....so I took it far a little spin around on the wastegate , and I wil tell you right now between the VVL and turbo ( 5-7 psi ) it makes 2nd useless after 4.5 k or so , around 4.2k put your foot in it and the turbo ready to rock and roll ,jabs of the gas make the tire spin ,doesnt feel lagy really at all for the size of the turbo , I reall cant wait to see this car on 15psi , it sounds amazing when the wastegate opens and VVL hits, I love this car cant get enough of it , I am finally getting use to the clutch ....I had a hell of time moving the REX to put the NX back in the garage , you cant feel the engagment as at all like you can on the NX , I slipped the **** out of it , just backing it up ....totaly differant feel , hopefully if I get my valve spring tool from my friend tomarrow , I will get the valve springs in .....and the slick wheels will hopefully be here somtime in the midle of next week , so can finish it up on friday ( high boost and revs )

Hurry up already!!! lol. I really wanna see your dyno graph. I would like to compare mine with yours in the next month or so and see how they compare. Granted, I don't have the really nice setup you've got. But it will be interesting to see the difference in VVL builds and how the turbo really effects these motors. The larger turbos with big ex wheels will always show a ton more power on the VE.

I bet at 25psi you are 550whp. I've got quite a ways to go to even come close to that, and I won't. But it would still be a pretty cool comparo. Keeping the boost low keeps the turbine speeds low and reduces lag.

The is a sr powered 35r car making 500hp+ at around 15psi and at 20psi it was 600+ so there is alot to be said for stand alone ...

I've been saying that same thing for years. The generic tunes are WAY conservative. I made the same power as a guy with WAY more mods than I had. I was running an emanage and he had a JWT which is what everyone used at the time.

i too agree peep the sig

and i also agree the tunes ARE way too conservative both in the fuel mapping and esp the ignition mapping stand alones might be expensive but when you shell vout alot of money on quality turbos manifolds fuel systems ect the ecu should be no exception stand alone or stand with all
