Set the rev limit as high as possible while still making power and being safe. Go with the 3582r.

That is how the project has been the whole time .....I started out with a T28 setup that never made it onto the factory DE to a gt2871r ,same story then a gt30r that was going on my built det , then I went sleeved block VE head with the idea of using the 30r , and know I played with it a little more with springs and retainers , and a nother bigger turbo , GT35R

what exactly is his problem that led you to go with a larger turbo

Coheed's problem is his ECU. You won't have those problems.

I would stick with the GT3076. A turbo in hand is worth two in the bush.

I'm diggin' the orange.

I am going to try the to smash 500whp ....and I was really concerned the the gt3076r was to small to do it on a VE motor , event though the H boys do it time and time again ....then had a chance to help a friend out and pick up the 35R cheap ...and know with everthing I have ...I know I will be able to crush the 500whp mark ...should be in the high 500whp hopefully and I should lose a few RPMs of power in the power band , but the BC springs will deffently help me gain those back ...I want the highest whp street NX out there ...well most complete motor wise

it amazes me that people think their turbine housings or their turbos are the reasons why they arent making power, while you can go to youtube and type in 30r/35r and see people making gobs of power...while they say that their problem is a turbo or housing and STILL using a weak jwt ecu or chipped ecu.

you are going AEM if im not mistaken, 30r or 35r you wont have a issue

I know your goal was to break 500 WHP. The GT3076 would do that, no problem. Having a VE head doesn't have anything to do with it not being able to make that power. Generalizing things, if it can flow the air to make 500-550 WHP, it can make that power on any engine.

I know the GT3582 will make it a lot easier to break 500 WHP and I understand why you've gone with it. I just like to make a plan and stick to it so I can accomplish my goal. I try to keep "feature creep" (as we call it in the software industry) to a minimum. That's all I'm saying.
