what year car?
what year motor?
what harness did you use?
what ecu did you use?

If you used all matching motor, harness, and ecu then i would say you have got to give us a lot more information on what is going on...
spark?
fuel?

If you've got good spark i would check to see if my fuel lines are correct. line out of fuel filter goes to the rail not the fpr. i'd say most people that do a swap screw this up before anything else.

I hope this isn't on one of your customers' cars...

Yeah everyone seems to mess up the fuel lines. Its usually the first thing i ask as well.

yeah it was a pain in the butt to do when i did mine but now that i know what im doing its a peice of cake. im sure its something stupid you did that you forgot to check. but its important to use the same year harness or the car will not start. 91-92 harness will work for thoes year 93 will only work with a 93 and 94 will only work for a 94. the 91 and 92 harness is the only harness you can cross between the 91 and 92 year. i had the same problem in my car i had to find the right harness which was a 94 and from what i experience its the hardess year to swap a 2.0 in because the 94 was so limited

make sure that you have the 2 underdash harness plugs pluged in. there the 2 plugs that you have to take off from under your center console in between your ecu. theres one on each side. if thoes plugs are not pluged in your car will not start just crank. and if you got the wrong year harness thoes plugs differ. they look the same but are not. i had a 91 harness on my 93 nx and the underdash harness looked exactly the same. The car just cranked and cranked but no start... So when i went to check all the plugs i started with the underdash clips. when i went to go unplug it it pulled right out without me pushing the tab down and i thought that was odd. Thats when i looked at the pin layout of the plug and they differ from the diffrent year harness that i layed out for you. i had the 93 and 91 together and they were completly diffrent. switched the harness and it fired right up

sorry about the messed info i was going crazy.

the car is a 94 sentra E 5speed

the motor/ harness came out of a 91 SER

i did notice that there was an extra plug it was thin and long that was hanging and not being used.

let me get this stright i have to get a 94 SE-R harness to make this car run. Will this also make my sentra E cluster work since its a elec cluster.

my 91 is no good for this swap wow That sux lol

and i also have to check the fuel lines and spark plugs also.

i also own both cars so the SER is in the garage and the E is in the drive way.
