Someone was selling it pretty cheap on eBay... so i bought it, i didnt know it was missing the plate at that time until i got it.. my mistake.

Well today I test fit the turbo! I got a GTIR Manifold, the Jpipe from my Avenir fits like a glove! And on top of that, the exhaust DP will bolt right up even thought the turbo is slightly off from last because of the GTIR manifold.. My next question:

I had these installed on my T25 (Avenir) Go Fast Depot . The banjo bolts are too small for this new turbo and you can wiggle them in and out of the cartridge. The turbo came with it's own bolts that fit into both the new turbo and the T25 .. has anyone had any issues with the GFD Banjo fitting on the GT2560R?

Okay, now THAT'S a bad sign as far as authenticity.

My GFD banjo fittings work flawlessly on a GT3076R. All banjo fittings should be identical as far as using them with a Garrett small frame/mid frame turbo. Hell I would think that even a large frame CHRA would accept the same diameter banjo bolts...

Hmmm.. lol... that sucks... the weird thing is that the brass banjo bolts that came with it fit fine, maybe just a tiny loose, fit VERY snug (no play) into the T25. Im gonna try to take it in this week to a local dealer and go from there.. I paid $600 for the thing... It looks like the housings are def. real.. If the cartridge is not genuine I dont know what to do from there... Put it on and see what it does? I wasnt able to find any GT2560R for under $900..

And here's yet another twist.. Just for the heck i went out and tried the other port on the turbo for water and it fits perfectly (GFD).. Soo, it seems like whoever was test fitting the turbo before might have used some other size and stretched the threads on one side, because visually the other side has taller threads, and the ones in question look a little eaten up...

Sooo... i guess im gonna have to use a lot of teflon tape on that one..

Ok. so I had the turbo inspected and here is what I found out.
The turbo is not new, it is rebuilt, it does not have a GT2560R cartridge, it's from another turbo. One of the water hookups is a little worn out (threads) and will need to use some teflon tape to thread in tight. Clearences check out shaft play, it is a ball bearing turbo etc.. but I decided that im not keeping it and going with a GT2860RS.. So.. while I am working on getting my money back from the seller I will offer the turbo here for the same amount I purchased it for $615 shipped, if anyone is interested.
