2 questions.
what kind of power levels/boost levels will a stock gtir ecu be able to handle? i have just finished installing my gtir swap in my ser. want to up the boost/maybe swap turbo kits. just wondered where stock boost cut kicks in, and if i can MAKE the 280-290 hp the injectors/maf/turbo are capable with with that stock ecu.
ALSO, will top feed rc injectors work in a stock gtir fuel rail? i got the impression they don without modification. anybody know?

You need to be able to tune somehow if you plan on upping the boost or you will run lean and blow your motor. easiest way is a calum I guess thats what everyone is using now. If its the larger gtir injectors in there and not 370cc's then you should be fine but my 370cc injectors were at 99% duty cycle at 200whp.

Im pretty sure that the top feed RC's will NOT just drop into the stock GTi-R rail. Youd have to bore it out I think. But that has been done and isnt really that big of a deal to do.

As for the ECU. Its programed for the stock GTiR inj's. So youll be good until the limit of the injectors and maf. Once you get to that point then a Simple SAFC instal will let you run bigger injectors and also a bigger maf easily. Im pretty sure youll be stuck with a speed limiter of some kind though which will suck.

thats all soundds good. dont worry, i do have a jim wolf ecu to go along with the 750s/300zx maf. i just wanted to make use of what i had for the time being. i didnt want to mess something up running 9 pounds of the turbonetics i have.....should be fine then.

yeah.....its a full gtir front clip i bought, and swapped into my car last week. stock injectors/maf are good to 290-300 hp, and if ran at 4 bar fuel pressure and bore out the maf, closer to 330-340. i just dont know if the stock ecu has a fuel limiter. i seriously doubt that a maf car will have a hard time dealing with a bigger turbo, as long as your using the ecu/injectors/maf the ecu is programmed for.i considered calum but i believe he is no longer taking orders, and the wait is like 3-4 months. could be wrong now, but last i heard hes very busy.
