Sounds like an axle to me. I could still drive the car around a parking lot just on LSD alone lol. It would barely move though. I have only broken 2 axles so far.

I'm just glad I found it was that before I started pulling bolts for the tranny. It sheared off the passenger side axle at the tranny. It's a good thing that I had a spare one, but it sucks that I had to pull it out of my '96...

**** I even had a spare tranny and clutch and flywheel laying around too just in case lol
