Help! GTi-R swapped b14! No Spark!
SO! I bought a GTi-R swapped b14 (96 SE-R)a few weeks ago and it ran pretty fine. One day it decided it didn't want to start so I decided to check the plugs (they didn't look too nice) so I decided to wait until I got home to change them but then I looked at the gauge and it was pretty close to "E". I put some gas from work in, tried to start it about two more times and it started although im pretty sure that wasn't the problem considering I had fuel pressure. YAY! for now. Changed the plugs the next day and it never gave a problem until two days ago. Had to start the car four times for the day and was not disappointed until the fourth. It cranked over but it did not even seem like it even wanted to begin to start, the RPM did not go up or down just stays at zero and its a solid crank. Next day I popped off the cap and there was alot of corrosion so I had wifey change the cap and try again. The weird thing that happened the night before was that the fuel level gauge went to half then back to 1/4 like it originally was really slowly. I put the plugs on the wires outside of the engine and had someone crank it over NO SPARK.
Anyone have any idea on what voltages I should be getting at the dizzy connectors, a way to test it, or the computer? The cap is new, rotor is not (Thanks to Autozone and their disfigured, barely-fitting parts). I have fuel pressure and the car never bogged under boost. None of the plugs fire, the wires aren't pretty but all will not go bad at the same time without a miss. New plugs are on the way. It's a calum ECU and its a stock setup minus the fmic. Car runs fine never missed never bogged or missed under boost, nothing funny besides the funky start-up a while back and the one now. It had a few codes but I over looked them since it's a modded ECU and a different engine should I have taken these into consideration?
Thanks for reading all that any help/input will be appreciated!
