gtir swap...no ignition/fuel
so, i took apart my front clip last week, very carfully.....we had it running, did quiet well for running off just a spray bottle of gas. after removing the motor, with attached wiring harness, i took the write up on the g20 forum, and modified my 94 nx2000 wiring harness as described. (How to: GTiR G20 P10 swap... - G20.net - Forums)
i switched the pins on the tps sensor (ground and positive are reversed in a gtir tps) modified the plugs for the aac. i havent gotten the o2 sensor/boost solenoid thing done yet, but we figured wed try and fire it up. nothing. cranks fine, but i havent got fuel, OR ignition. ive got the gtir ignitor grounded directly to the ground wire from the battery. i have no fuel, and no ignition. i have a 92 ser, that came to me kind of stripped. ive been putting it back together using parts from a bunch of junk cars ive stripped over the past few months. im using a 94 nx2000 wiring harness on the motor, and the 92 harness everywhere else. ive noticed a few differences INSIDE the car, where the 2 harness plugs coome off the ecu. the one going to the gauges plugs in properly, but the other one does not. do you guys know what im talking about? and would this possibly cause issues under the hood? just looking for some advice/ideas, i have no idea, had to pack it in for the night. i think ive got it all wired up. there is no voltage at the coil/ignitor, and i do not hear the fuel pump running, nor is their fuel coming out the fuel line.
