fuel pressure regulator
need to upgrade fuel pressure regulator, was wondering if a nismo fpr can be hooked up in place of the stock FPR or do you need an aftermarket fuel rail. Can I set it to 4 bar on my 444 cc injectors? And how do you set it to 4 bar?

Yes it can be, you will need to bend the return line a little bit.

Check out this How To.

You probably have a high port in that case. Yes you still need to bend it.

Stock vs Nimso:

Here is How I bent mine, be very careful! I actually suggest you use Swiss's method for bending it out.

Finally it should be similar to this:

wow thanks for the pics, how would you hook a gauge to it?

so the feed line is the line to the right of the FPR..thats where you run the line from your fuel filter to that..? then you run the return line off the FPR to the back of the car...right?
why doesn't the FPR go in between the feed line and the fuel rail?

I think it would be easier to get yourself an aftermarket fuel pressure regualtor with a guage already attached, and also get a greddy fuel rail adapter for a SR20, get like a megan racing regulator, I have one of those, and it has a built in fuel guage.

To run 4bar, you will need your ecu programmed for it, talk to Calum or erik212

P.S. a megan racing regulator will run you about $70 and the greddy fuel rail adapter is about $45, that's what you will pay for a nismo regulator with no fuel guage

If you're going to bend your Nismo FPR, use an allen wrench inside the return line and bend it so it doesn't crush too badly. Swiss told me this method and it works great. Check out this thread:
