Thread: need turbo wizards help

i got a GT28 turbo ( ebay )

and the avenir manifold and with this manifold it wont let me use the waste gate actuater.

i read that there was a diff bracket it so i can still use it. ( other wise i would have to get a external)

does anybody have the number or the site where i can get the bracket or anybody have pics of the the new brackets of what it looks like in the car or anything.

i tried looking but didnt find anything

Return ebay turbo and get a real turbo. Problem solved

Even with a real disco, the bracket will not work. You will need to make a new bracket to mount the WG actuator on. There are quite a few places that sell them. I found on at jgy customs, but they are not very reputable here.

try Nissan, 240sx, nissan sentra, nissan sentra se-r, G20, nissan skyline gtr, nissan silvia, S13, but buyer beware. Some have had some issues with them.

Atp makes a bracket but they have two. One that fits the gt28r and one that fits the gt28rs. I have one that JGY make and I drilled a second set of holes so it would fit both the gt28r,gt28rs, and 3071r. this also requires you to trim the backet some if you are intending to run the compressor housing out let up.

What brand "Ebay" turbo is it? Don't let people scare you with saying " oh no

you have a garbage turbo because it's from Ebay " Some "Ebay" turbos are

very good and some are very bad. Sometimes you just have the hit and miss

luck with them. I know some of my friends on the V8 side of the world that

make super crazy amounts of power on them and having been running them

forever with zero issues. So good luck with the one you have

the same one my friend has for his civic about a year ago lol.

DANMMMMMM 60 bucks for the flange. WOW thats alot of money
