I would say the clutch depends on your power levels and what you wanna spend, my 6 puck sprung clutch is only rated at 385 lbs of tq, anything above that and your asking for trouble. My 6 puck is chattery and I have to come off the line over 2 grand or its real harsh...but grabs like no other. My buddy one day was making fun of my cuz I kept reving it up to come off the line so I let him drive ...hehehe kept stalling the car out lol he couldn't even keep it going. I would say if your going with high hp go with a unsprung clutch but that are much much harsher on your tranny and put way more of a beating on it.

Right, everyone says it is way harsh, but this sintered iron isn't harsh at all. The wife didn't complain of jerkyness at all on our road trip today! Not once! She just complained about the open downpipe hahah.

hehe mine complains about a headache from the noise and gas, hope that works out for you then, my new setup for my gtir should net me around 380whp so I will be on the brink of the clutch im using but I don't plan on driving around on more than 300 daily plus its just my fun car

clutchmasters fx400 here 6 puck sprung here.

the htings ihave noticed with the sr20det engine and a aftermarket clutch kit and flywheel, is that the revs on the car is fast and smoothe, i run the jgy 8lb flywheel and you barely have to feather the throttle and it revs up fast, that is like the only thing i think that KINDA makes the car harder to drive a more aggressive clutch, but toher than that it is good to me.

where do all of you guys like to have your clutch engaugement come in at? me personally i have mine adjusted to come in at the top of the pedal instead of mid range, the clutch engaugemnt does come in on mid range pedal release its semi mid to top end of the pedal.

I set mine to come on in the fulcrum of the pedal. The place where the spring will normally pull the pedal to the floor, or push it back up.

It seems to be right in the middle.

im ridin a 4puck solid and a hd pp and it makes noise on take of but it as less chatter than my last 4 puck sprung disc but it holds power i ran my t28 on 24psi and it held up, but it takes some gettin use to for traffic. dont make sence to have a good street clutch and a poor track clutch. HD PP and a 4 puck non sprung is great for all purposes. So no one will beat me cause of a slipping clutch

Just saw that, looks and sounds great . I love how quickly the RPM's drop from 7k rpms

so today i got the call from a place where i used to buy clutch's and told me to come in,
so i went in and he showed this 6 puck unsprung, told me to take it home and slap it on the sentra. it was FREE. got lucky. The thing that im concerned about is that is there a problem with mixing the pp? and the clutch?

I have a ACT pressure plate, and im planning on using this clutch with it, the act pp is only 2 months of use.

Ha that will do it, mine doesn't come on with my delete kit, but I think Nissan Data Scan still picks up a code. I might just connect the O2 sensor again...
