BC2 Cam gear settings
I ordered a set of Bc2's and I know of the whole you need cam gears to make these work better ect. I searched around. But, Who actually has these cams an gears and what do you have your cam gears set to?

I had mine dropped in straight up. Had adjustable cam gears, but they never felt "right". They felt better just dropped straight in.

Alright cool I'll drop them straight in and see what happens. I dyno tuned last week and made 230whp and 255tq. Did you have to retune your a/f's tekkie? I have a wideband but would seeing the tq curve on a dyno graph be important to tuning for new cams or would I just be fine making sure the a/f's are in order?

Just ensure your AFR's are legit. Those cams will change them a bit, especially since you're FI.

OMFG!!!!!!
Whoever said that you need cam gears with bc2's lied to you all. I just installed mine and holy **** does it ever pull. The bottom end is about the same as it was but at 3800 rpm when I hit 18lbs of boost it feels like this thing hits vtec. I was in 3rd gear going from 30mph and when I hit full boost the tires just started spinning. I am very very happy with the first drive. I'm hooking up the wideband to do a little tunning and make sure my a/f's are in order. All in all I am thrilled with these cams.

^You will get better results on these cams on boost. Mainly the cam gear comments are pointed towards N/A guys. The USDM 91-93 cams pulled a lot harder till about 4K than the BC2's. Then they wake up around 5k and pull away.

There's a reason why most say that BC cams are drop in turbo cams, and not N/A cams.

oooo yea I was reading and I found that turbo gains should be more and i was very happy but even more happy now that they are in the car. This thing wakes up even earlier than that. maybe that fact that its a 10:1 motor but low end didnt change and at 3800rpm is when it wakes up and the tires start smoking. I dynoed 230whp and 255tq before the cams hope fully i made some significant gains. Cant afford a dyno right now but in the future we will see.

^Keep us posted. I would like to see your before and after sheets when you get a chance to get back on the dyno. Enjoy your new cams and be safe
