gtir parts.....
ok, did not know where to put this, there was a guy on here about 2 months back parting out a gtir nx2000.....had some s4s for a gtir i believe. cant remember his screen name. anyone know who im talking about?

I believe he sold them already or I would of snatched em up for my gtir besides how much hp you putting in your gtir that you would need s4 cams for I mean they would give you a little more hp but the stock block is good for 500hp. I know where some tomei cams are for 400 but I haven't found out what stage they are will let you know.

what kinda of setup r u running with these things...?
turbo
injectors
maf
fuel pump
ecu
motor(gtir im guessing) anything done to it?

i have a protec log manifod, fmax downpipe, t3t4 turbonetics 57 trim,750cc injectors, 300zx maf, probably be using a walbro 255 fuel pump, although i was thinking about going wih a aeromotive external unit.....goals are 450-500 hp stock block. was using a de block, then i came across this gtir clip for NOTHING....tuning with jim wolf, going to probably try their dual map setup.....one for pump gas, one for race gas. too much of a wait for calum realtime, i have the wolf ecu, and im just looking to get it up and running, if it needs fine tuning, ill adress it at that time.

wow nice sounds like you got a good setup..im running stock right now but im gonna be running, stock manifold , garrett gt2871R .86, 700cc injectors, z32 maf, walbro 255 fuel pump, right now Im gonna be using an ecu I got from a guy at emance named jason don't know how well it will work but gonna give it a shot. But Iv already got a Power FC with commander lined up. Power goals 350-400 on stock block. My car is FWD so anything over 320 is not gonna hold traction hence why im not going with bigger turbo. I am curious that manifold u got hooks up to a gtir block and is T3 flanged and downpipe? Where did you get that manifold and downpipe?

I thought jwt only made the s3m cams for the gtir head? Unless somthing changed they dont make s4's for the gtir.

Yeah as far as I know you are correct, Iv only seem s3 from jwt, tomei, and brain cower, thoe are the only 3 Iv seen, as far as I know they don't make s4, but hell what are you gonna need aftermarket cams for on a gtir unless your buidling it over 450-500 whp, theres no point in touching the inside of the block its perfect like it is.

Yeah the internals are great, but there is a decent amount of power to be had with cams and a re tune.

ill have to see what i can find......all the stock turbo stuff is for sale right now. good to hear all these good things about the blocks though. so i guess 500 isnt to much stress on it.
