Yeah, that's what I used/use. -3AN line with that restrictor, and Banjo adapter to -AN.

I just don't feel even remotely comfortable with the OEM hardlines. If you by chance happen to have higher oil pressure, or a restriction somewhere in the block that creates a higher pressure in the area of the feed line, then the turbo could end up getting a higher volume of oil than it should. If the turbo can't drain the oil quick enough, it gets pushed past the seals.

I told Jen what to do earlier when I called him. Pull the drain off from the block, seal the port on the block, and have someone start the car for a few seconds to see what the volume of oil leaving the turbo looks like. If it GUSHES out, then he definitely needs a restrictor. If it's steady, but not crazy, then there's another underlying issue.

Is the return line kinked, or restricted in any way? Was this a det, or de block? If it was a de block maybe it wasn't completely drilled through? I'm with Ben, I have never heard of running a restrictor on stock lines, but anything is possible.

Not kinked or restricted. It's a W11. He's not going to run a restrictor on a stock line, he's going to have to use a braided stainless line with restrictor.

I don't like stock lines. Never have, never will.

Have you guys checked the crankcase ventilation?

PCV is removed all together. He has the line running from the crankcase to the valvecover, IIRC, and the other port is running to the pre-turbo intake pipe. I'm not 100% sure as I don't remember his setup vividly.

Is jensen using the same maf whether turbo or when he took off the turbo?

What, exactly, is changed between the turbo install and non-turbo?
