i just got a whole motor man. im sure that the block might have already been like that from the get go. I did have a wideband hooked up and all the numbers were adjusted in all rpms. i read 12's in WOT and they adjusted from part throttle to idle on the numbers it should have been. and every cylinder had the same grinding on them, 4 being the worse i looked at the cylinder walls closer and i can confirm the the walls were not touched at all

That looks like detonation and some decent leanness. My 10:1 looked like that but with a nice hole in the piston. the problem i had was my injectors were used and like an idiot i didnt have them cleaned and flowed by rc before installing them.

yeah, also a wideband isnt going to matter if the other 3 cyl are running rich the wideband is gonna read rich. The only real way to tell would be to have an egt gauge for each cyl. My aem wideband was reading rich and it turns out injector 3 was hardly spraying, when i looked at the #'s from rc i was shocked the car lasted as long as it did.

Good to here you are already dropping another engine in. I have done it plenty of times, with de's 4 to be exact.

well the thing is that all the cylinders pretty much had the same type of wear patter and when we hooked up the computer to it the duty cycles for each injecter was normal!!!

As I told you yesterday:

100% sure now, that it was headgasket seepage. I showed my friend this picture, and he says that the previous owner of the motor (the donor car) likely scrapped the motor due to smoking. He puts the motor at around 175K miles. He said that headgasket seepage was likely just due to age of motor, and not from being beat on. He says to deck the block and drop in a lower CR piston, if need be/possible. Otherwise, sleeve it.
