Dang that could be bad. If that means what I think then that would be your oil man.

Its not necessarily a matter of bending valves Jen it could be the stem seals leaking oil.

If Slick50 cleared it up, DING DING you have leaky valve seals.

This totally sounded like my friends old 323. He had bad valve stem seals and I had always thought it was rings until right after I sold the car for him. He used to intentionally get in front of luxury cars at every light.

Rock it with the slick 50 and see if it gives you some time to enjoy boost.

I had a similar issue a while back with a t28 i was running at the time. My friend kept on saying it was an obstructed drain line. Well i just put that same engine in my car again this time with a new turbo set up.

When i was re doing the gasket sealer on fittings and such i decided to take a peek inside the barb fitting on the block, what i found was a large amount of gasket sealer which may have come from the fitting or one of the upper pan bolts pushing it up. Either way it was easily blocking 60-70% of my oil drainage.

I dont currently have the new set up completed but when i do i will let you know if i am still having the same issues with the perodic smoke like you are having. If it does end up being my valve seals i will just put one of my other heads on. I should have it running by the end of this weekend.

good s hit insane import^^^

well it seems like the slick 50 only made a small diffrence. if i drive it like grama it will not smoke but as soon as i drive like my usuall self the smokes starts to come out again. so i guess theres nuthing else i can really do.

unless my eyes are playing tricks on me it might have not even did nuthing at all. You guys know when you put like a CAI for the first time when you didnt know anything about cars and your mind woulld plays tricks on you and you swore you gained like ten HP lol thats how i feel right now. did it work?? or did it not work?? i dunno

just did a compression test on my car and it read 125 across the board. im going to try a newer gauge because the gauge i used was from the 1970's lol. But all in all i dont think anything wrong with the comnpression the gauge is probably off and just to see the same compression across the board leads me to belive my rings are fine. there is no way that each ring would have worn out the same exact way to give me the same exact compression in each cylinder so im slowly leaning toward a valve seal going bad. still have to pull out the turbo to inspect the lines and everything

use the lucas. that's good stuff. sounds like your seals too. if your still running a cat that's why the smoking is sparratic (sp). the convertor will "eat" some of the oil, but on hard accelaration the cat ani't gonna help nothing.
