yeah im using the stock lines that came with the turbo. i checked the oil return line like 50 times and its not kinked or anything. I drove around today and it was doing the usuall puff of smoke crap. i parked the car and went to the house to spend time with the fam. jumped back in the car and drove for about 5 to 8 miles with NO SMOKE. Then i punched it one time and i saw the smoke come back. Whatever the problem is its not doing it all the time. Im going to buy some slick 50 or something similar and see if that helps for the time being.

im putting your name out there tekk tekk lol. im going to wait for him to move down here so he can help me fix these small issues. in the mean time im going to be collecting parts.
bc springs and retainers new valves and i guess if im pulling my head off i have to buy new head bolts... sign....i should have stayed NA if i knew i was going to have all these problems.........

im going to pull the turbo off tomorrow and take all the lines off clean them out fix whatever line is leaking, clean everyting out and re install and see what happens

if its a rear wheel drive turbo on a front wheel drivecar the turbo needs to be clocked

if your going to get springs, retainers and valves you might as well get this

also, i agree with Ben in this situation.

It's a GTiR turbo, off of Theo's car. You do bring up a good point that the CHRA would need to be clocked slightly, but I don't think that this is the case, here.

Sounds like it could be rings or valve seals leaking. Try a leakdown it can tell things that will be masked when doing a comp test.

im going to try and slick 50 today and see if that does anything, i just dont get how a valve can go bad in such a clean ass motor

does it matter that jensen did clock the turbo some I think, so it would line up with the top mount set-up

I told him that all he needed to do was rotate the compressor housing. If he clocked the entire CHRA and the oil drain is not pointing down to the paved surface, then he needs to correct that.
