Well after switching out my turbo for a freshly rebuilt one my smoke issues have went away.

SHOULD have been the same for Jen. I think it's not turbo related, but until he gets off his ass and installs the new banjo bolt and uses his T25 line, we won't know for sure.

He has other issues that need to be resolved as well, though. Like his timing

He's putting it back together today, yay! I hope he doesn't call me with bad news. Otherwise it's going to be three weeks until I can get up there and help him sort it out.

im almost done. well im done with it i just dont want to start it lol. i have to do a wheel bearing and a lower ball joint. think im going to get that done first lol

It's strange though...

He called me and said that it was smoking, but then it stopped. The cartridge itself is smoking in the engine bay, but nothing coming out of the exhaust anymore.

There was a small crack on the center cartridge where the wastegate flap is, I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the smoking. I don't know how deep the crack is though
