Update(SMOKING IS GONE!!!)
Ok i talked to a couple of people and everyone else seems to be a bit puzzled. I keep blowing smoke out of my tail pipe!!!! It does not happen all the time. Its usually when i slow down and sometimes when i take off. I have checked the following.

charge pipe is clean no oil

check the downpipe and j pipe for signs of oil... there is none just regular black powdery crap thats in all exhaust after it runs

check to see if my piston had a coating of oil. they didnt

im thinking maybe piston ring or valve right?? but the thing i dont get is if it were a piston ring i would loose compression right? and this thing is way to much of a monster to be loosing compression.

if it was the valve wouldnt it be smoking all the time if it was letting oil by?? or at least everytime i slow down and take off??

i changed my oil 2. i was using rottella 15w 40 and i thought that maybe the oil was to thick and was not draining properly through the oil drain pipe and was causing it maybe to back up a lil??? it was just a thought. I also had another forum member say that the rottela made his car smoke but only after the first oil change after that it was non exsisting.. But i just change to normal castrol gtx 5w 30. i put a lil oil in each cynlinder and cranked it by hand. started it. let all the oil burn off and then changed my spark plugs

its been a day now but it still seems to be doing the same intermitten puff of smoke. the previouse owner of my t28 said it never smoked on his car and he got a vounch from TEKKIE who personally saw the car on the track. Im lost.

note that the car didnt always smoke. It happen one day when i was on my way to connecticut. I was sitting in traffic for a hour and thats when i started to get the smoke. thought it was the t25 going on so i got the t28. changed the t28 and it didnt smoke for a couple of days then one day it came...

DISCUSS!!!

Unless you can explain to me how that minty fresh T28 blew a seal from the time it left Theo's hands and ended up in Jen's hands, I call bullchit.

That turbo was mint. I know Jen didn't do anything to mess it up, either. I still stand by valve seal or worn ring. If it were oil seals, there would be tell tale signs of oil either in the chargepipe, the exhaust housing, manifold, downpipe, etc. a worn valve seal would let enough oil into the combustion chamber to be burnt off (doesn't take much to create a huge plume of smoke).

Jen, just to verify oil consumption, drive that fukker around for a few days without worrying about smoke. Then check oil levels.

Tekkie,
he is losing oil, we had to add a quart of oil when we got to O.C.
but for some reason, I guess b/c of stop and go traffic, he blew smoke at every stop light, we checked the oild level again before we left O.C., but I can't remember if he had to add oil again or not b/c I passed out

J,

He didn't tell me he was burning oil! That noob

I still stand by my convictions. Rings/valve seals.

Check your intake manifold, see if there is oil in there.

You could be sucking oil via PCV valve, that wont show up on your charge pipe
