Unless you go with a hydraulic setup

this would be almost identicle to the stock Act Xtss clutch combo. Both use a organic disk that is sprung. The big difference will be a xt pressure plate. The clutch in my turbo car grabs much harder than the stage 3 in the ve car. Both cars have a findaza flywheel.

Yes very much so, and that is rated for 300ft-lbs. The only thing is having a harder pressure plate means more foot work and more tranny work which is not necessarily until I push that much power.

I'm going to go with 6 puck sprung disc. I probably will go with ACT, but lets see what Clutch Specialties can offer .

its not that bad. The pedal pressure is only about 10% more than the stage 3 setup that I dd. I also have seen these clutches go over 500whp.

You won't like the 6-puck. Wait until it fails and replace it with a JWT/SE disc setup. It will probably hold awhile and you seem really tired of modding. Face it you'll never be done with this car. Give the credit cards to your wife and walk away for 6 months.

hahaha that's good.

So your exedy setup is slipping Vadim?

Clutch is not slipping yet, But I am 20 pounds over the flywheel rated torque for the clutch.

I just want to hit two birds with one stone, but I guess after doing the flywheel, I should be able to replace the clutch in no time again right?

That clutch should be fine Vadim. I put 290hp/312tq. to a ACT Street disk and it didn't slip once. Just busted apart cuz ACT sucks lol

Wow interesting! Fair enough, I'll take it all apart and check for signs of a dying clutch and will go from there.

Looking at the clutch, it might be time to get a different one with my future power goals...
