boost gauge hook up
how are you supposed to hook up that thin hard line coming from the gauge? I did some searching and found some people just slip in inside a piece of vacuum line thats how mine was. I think thats half assed, and probably why my gauge is reading low vacuum.

i am running it that way, there is about 2 inches of vacuum line with the hard line about 1 inch inside the vacuum line. then i electrical taped it...its a temp fix but i dont get ANY low readings at all with it so its not really that half assed

is it like a tee with 1/8" a compression fitting on the side? you know where to get one?

I'm thinking about checking out the hardware store for a npt fitting with a barbed end to go on the back of the gauge, and getting rid of the hard line all together.

well my **** was double rigged where the other line went into an even larger line so it would fit on the vacuum gallery on the back of my gti-r manifold where the carbon canister would hook up if I had one

This hose kit works awesome. The push on fitting is the way to go.

I thin you can get the fitting by itself from www.fastenal.com but you'll have to search for it or go to one of their store locations.
