back on topic, nice numbers!

I like lag! Without it, I'd be bitching about no traction

Lag from a big turbo its acceptable but 100 whp loss on the midrange caused from a set of cams its unacceptable....

Are you saying im loosing 100whp in midrange? From 5200rpm to 6300rpm Im am jumping from 200whp- 530whp...Not doubting that I could tweak these cams for a better looking curve, just curious if this was directed at my dyno graph....Personally I don't mind the lag, its really easy to stay out of boost and just drive my two winged wonder aimlessly around town Then feather the trottle, listen to the mini-jet under my hood and hold on! Its like a sling-shot...

Oh and im still getting 28-31mpg on the highway......1600cc, e85 and all....

What are the specs on your specific SC-61?

I asked because on Manny's old VE-T set up the car was also on a SC-61 and the car hit boost a lot quicker than your DET. The car was in the mid 500's FWIW.

It does make sense that the cams could be adjusted.

When did manny's set-up hit boost? And what was he revving to? Just trying to get an idea of his powerband.
I know I didn't post my hp/boost graph. My boost is dead on though, not an ounce of creep, and holds steady straight to redline. I am using the AEM for my boost controller.

I will get you the exact specs tomorrow, I just want to make sure i get you the correct specs.
I think I am also one of the first to run the combo i have.....with the BC 272cams, BC springs/retainers, JWT bronze valveguides,BC valves- 1 mm oversize on the intake valves, .5mm oversize on the exhaust side....

I'm running BC 272's, BC Springs and Retainers, and Supertech valves. They're not oversized, though, and I'm still using stock valveguides and valveseals. That's why I'm anxious to see how the numbers differ when you dial in those cams! Get's to working!!!!

Really nice #'s. I would have though the power wouldn't have fallen off as quickly and as much towards redline. Looks like down 80+whp from peak(7k?) to redline (7.7k?).

Here is Manny's old Dyno sheet.

He made 523 whp at 408 ft tq at 24 psi This car was very damn fast. His SC-61 had a stage 5 .63 rear wheel IIRC.

I ask the question about the SC-61 as it is a top contendor on my turbo list.
