lol runs redicoulous, haha it doesnt even come up off the peg on the stock guage After a couple hard runs in a row it will come off the peg for a couple seconds then while cruising it will just go back down.

I need to verify with Calum on how much changes are on the fuel and timing maps depending on coolant temp, that could be exactly why the car runs soo rich all the time. But since i dont have exact temps thats what im thinking might be happening. Cuz thats basicly the only change from the motor i put in to test this tune out to this one is the fact that its probably not hitting full operating temperature. Ill have to check with him and see if he can make some changes to a set of chips and send them to me to try out. Again ill keep this thread updated.

I guess I don't understand why you didn't use a stock radiator. I cut out the support and hood latch from my car as well, and the stock radiator still fits just fine. Just made brackets to hold it at the top, and I've never had any issues...

I was using 1 bottle of water wetter and only water, would that have caused it to fail like it did ?

I'm betting that the electric pump and lack of thermostat are accounting for the vast majority of the cool running temps you're seeing. That radiator probably has near the same volume as the stock rad, and may actually have less surface area for heat transfer.

I'd be very curious to see what the real water temps are, from a proper gauge or Techtom or something.

I would toss in a stock thermostat and see what happens to your operating temps.

i could and the temps would probably rise up like normal and stay at normal. It will still stay cool but not like it is now. Plus you would have to drill a hole in the t-stat to allow the electric pump to flow some coolant while the coolant is warming up or you will damage the pump. So it should still run pretty cool. Im gonna talk to calum to ask how much of a difference it is from the coolant temp maps.

Probably not, but that's not a great idea anyway. Coolant has anti-corrosives and lubricant that you want to have in the system. 25/75 mix is as low as I'd recommend for long time operation (in hot climates obviously).

Ashton how thick its the 3 core vs the one you are( and what brand) using Im very tempted to do the same.

1.5X thicker than mine. Mine is the 2 core the 3 core is probably about 3/4" thick i would assume. I dont remember the brand, I purchased it off ebay It was about $80 shipped for this one.
