Yes, the octane booster CAN give you 40 points. 40 full points (4 full octane numbers) to premium fuel. Up where I am I only can get 91 octane at the pump, and the Lucas can bump it as high as a 96 octane when mixed with 10 gallons/bottle of lucas.

i cant remember what brand my buddy with his built tt z32 used but it messed his crap up bad, turned his plugs red and made it constantly misfire. He never used it again, he just went to the pump and bought a couple gallons of 100 octane race gas for 5.75/gal at the time it is now 7.50/ gal now.

Never had problems after that, ive never used any octane booster and always just used the actual race gas and never had problems.

Hmm times are changing because the octane booster use to be snake oil.
