It has nothing to do with the battery. If the maf is in the intercooler pipes (usually cold side)it blow through. If the maf is on the intake pipe its draw through. Think of the air/maf. Draw through pulls(draws) metered air through the turbo. Blow through pushes(blows) compressed air through the maf. Get it?

I recirculate my blow through setup anyway because it runs better like that. That's my experience.

I love that it's saved my ass cuz of my crappy intercooler piping setup and just random pop offs of couplers

Wow. Thanks for all the replies. I got it now. You have to recirc for that setup, and I'm running blow through so I can't do that. How do I modify the maf to make it fit on the intercooler piping?

what you´re gonna use to keep the car runing when the bov gets open?

It's only a problem if your BOV leaks at idle. Other then that, you'll have a hugely rich condition every time it opens (like when you shift or go off throttle during boost).
If it doesn't leak at idle, the car should be fine.
