Hmmm, interesting the Manley looks to be a bit more stout in some areas, but not as much in others. Get any weight measurements?

I hear guys are getting over 800whp on the BC h-beam rods. Pretty impressive imo. These look almost the same. I thought they were all made in the same factory in China?

bc econo rods are my favorite budget rod. billet steel, much better oiling, more stout. The only negative is they weigh about 30 grams more. if you are interested i can post pics of the differences nexto to an eagle rod, as i also did the same thing when choosing mine. I would choose the manley over the eagle, the finishing machining looks better. Its probably more balanced too. That was the bigh thing we found when going from eagles to bc, eagles always needed to be balanced before going into an engine where as the bc's need very little

CA18 post the pics this is interesing .

The Manleys are more balance and have a better finishing machining over the eagles plus
more precise balance .

I will also post pics of Crower rods later

pd: How much weight for the stock DE and DET?

Looks like the Manley H beam rod is the lightest one out there.

as you can see the wall thickness in the H beam BC rod is much thicker and a much more stout rod than the eagles, it has a much smoother finish with a larger thrust wall on the big end, the little end bush is also thicker and has an oil groove which can create better lubrication to the little end pin.
There is also a lot of inconsistencies with the beam on the eagles between batches and they always need a descent balance. This is even noticable in the pics, the finishing on both the manleys and bc's are worlds apart. It is more noticeable in my pics though as the are a bit closer up.

The best part about the bc's imo is that they are made from the same grade steel as the other rods, but instead of forged steel it is actually proper billet steel.

I think they are made in the same factory as eagles, but the bhe big thing for me is that instead of shipping straight to the shelves (like the eagles) they are sent back to the U.S. for finishing and final machining. To me the have skimped in the right area's and not skimped where it is important.

I bought these rods a while ago, but there was crap all difference in the price.

i hate you soo much as i had to upload all these pics from my comp onto photobucket lol, if i didn't want to see you set up with a strong bottom end soo bad i wouldn't have bothered lol.
