brilliant... this is what I love about you guys... you look at every detail before purchasing... exactly the thing that one should do. I think I will be going for the Manley's also.

Look how beefy those Pauter rods are. Wow. hee hee. that's what I got. Not even close to being light, but strong as hell

I hope to finish the build motor in a about 2 months.
I just order the Manleys rods supertech 100lbs springs and retainers VET head gasket and a cuple of more things...

This are the BC econo rods right? ... the look very well finished like the manleys..( and look stronger too)
How much weight?
thanks for the pics.

yeah these are the bc econo rods

yeah they are very well finished especially compared to the eagles, the manleys look that way as well.

they where 550 something grams from memory, so a little more than the eagles, but the benefits of the billet steel and more stout rod make up for the little extra weight especially in a turbo build. If i was going an na build and had to choose from the 3 i would probably go manleys.

I think the STD crower billet rods are about 575 grams each. I also have a set of maxi ultra-light rods that weigh about 450 grams for a built NA motor

Do any of those rods accept the gti-r 19mm bearing without machining?

the pauters do. Strange though that pauter dont list them (at least they never used to, not checked in a while)
