My walbro days are over because of bullshit like this. I would make the move to a better pump.

this happens to factory pumps as well because the fuel actually cools the pump. running with less than a 1/4 tank can cause the pump to over heat and burn out.

ok i just put the stock pump back in an it fired right up!
also i noticed i couldn't of been completely out of gas... low yes... but i dont think i was completely out and the pump was seated down properly..
i think it just ran low and over heated or was just a piece of shit out the box.
