Wow i guess i should have looked at a few more threads about the ngk's.

Thanks for the info.

I am going to relay the info to adavance tomorrow and see if i can get them to order a couple of boxes for stock. The guys at advance are pretty knowledgable, not to metion a few of them are into imports. They know my friends and i on a first name basisi. LOL

Stock number 5238 is available at Autozone for around 3.50 per plug. It is a heat range 9, non resistor, non-projected-tip.

5238 is a racing plug. They also have a heat range 8 if you foul out the 9.

Hmm seems there are a lot of plug-know-how in this thread, so indulge me for a second.

Is there a standard copper plug in heat range 8 with a resistor that fits an SR? I've only tracked down non-resistor plugs and they cause all kinds of interference with my management system. V-power 5671a-8 IIRC

You can find bike plugs in 12mm and put a steel metal insert on it to make it 14mm.
