your set up is defiantly one that would benefit from 16ve cams. great to hear you are loving it. bet you cant wait for valve springs (9krpm), built bottom end and more boost. 16psi would nothing for that turbo you are running

Thats completely sick, if you make 500whp on only 16psi that is completely insane. Rediculous man rediculous. Keep up the good work, definetly get those springs in there so you can really take advantage at high rpms

Weren't you the same one that said people were having trouble making 450whp on turbo VE's

LOL!!

If he did I have no clue where he got that info. We made well over 400 whp on SE-Rawkus's on pump gas.

Im very suprise about how good and easy this motor builds boost( even with big turbos) its like to have a medium turbo in place..like 3076 or somethig like that at only 16lbs its a blast to drive... like you said I can not wait to put the forged internals and springs ... look at this little vid man the other car its a 400whp p11 wich its also 440 lbs lighter than my car...
Its increible how much faster in spool and respoce its over a 55mm sr20De turbo.
Cheers and thanks.

i did say that but at the time it was true but not many people were using the proper turbo and manifold i guess, but hey again like most of you said, prove me wrong and he has so far. I guess the ve's really like big turbos, like really big turbos. It seems like the Gt30 turbos and under are really having a hard time making good power, thats all i said. But hey i love it, Thats some insane power for only 16lbs of boost. Efficiency at its best.

I do agree that the GT3071r is probably the smallest turbo that should be put on a VE but, still at 15 psi or so it should easily be over 400 whp. Most of the time a DE even with cams will need more boost to make 400 whp. The average T3T4 powered DE at 15 psi puts down mid 300's.

The VE is just a flat out better motor than the DE.

I agree with that...

A Gt30 71/76 @15psi will not make 400whp in a DE standart for sure.. im making 400whp at 19lbs with a similar turbo with no cams or anything. Maybe and just maybe with the s3r and stock rc in the rr could be possible put 400whp at 15-16psi with a GT30 i donĀ“t know in the high ports cause the head flows less than the rr. But with 400whp+/- its fun if you have good grip... if not is the festival of wheel spin..

The P11 of JP its really fast... i am really impressed with the SR20VE-T. and the sr16 cams jaja.
