3" downpipe pro's/cons worth it?
I have been thinking about going from a 3" dp on my t25 with s4's? My exhaust is all 3 inch except for the dp. I know a t25 creates a lot of back pressure. I also heard a 3" dp can rub against the cross member and also scrape the ground. Also would I see any hp gains? Any suggest would be great.

never heard crossmember but, if your car is super low it will hit. Also I hear sway bar, mine does on that.

Lou,

Our cars are roughly the same stance, and I don't have ground issues with mine, unless I'm going into a fuucked up driveway. 3" is fine as far as clearance.

Oh yeah, and doesn't hit the xmember either.

it runs right next to the crossmember and it wont rub if the installer knows his craft.

I run a 3 inch on my T28 no clerance issues at all.

I ran a 3" turbo back on my T3 setup, it ran next to the crossmember, and I had no ground clearance issues, but the top of the downpipe was about 1/2 an inch from the oil pan. you should be fine witha 3" inch downpipe. Im going through the same thing right now on my T25 setup, my downpipe is 2 1/2 while the rest is 3" no cat no resonator
