lol you dont have to worry about that again, haha the motor is basicly done other than the cams so by next weekend it should be back up and running again to do some breakin miles on it then will come dyno time and maybe if its still cool enough i might do some runs at low boost.

Do it once or don't do it at all.

You have a very nice build and I am pretty sure you spent a lot of money on it. So protect it as much as you can.

Hopefully this one will last for you this time! No offense but it's gotta suck to keep going through motors. And why didn't you use a VE head? or is this the block that the head got mangled on?

What did you use to block the oil hole that normally feeds the VE head?

lol, your funny ben, sorry not for sale.

Neways i drilled the ve head oil port and tapped it and used a 1/8"npt plug with thread sealer, i tightened it all the way down till it hit the lip i left with no threads to push the threads and seal them not to mention the sealer should also take care of it being the plug is a cross cut threads plug so it self seals under tension and its in there pretty darn tight.

Neways yes this is the block from my ve motor that the head got mangled on. I used it because it has the oil squirters.

I didnt use a ve oil pump because greg and noone else in the country has them right now. The gtir pump is basicly just as good. It flows the same volume just doesnt hold AS high of oil pressure up in high revs. I only plan to rev to 8k where my limiter is set so no need to really use the VE pump as the gtir one will do just as good everywhere else.

Yeah it sucks to go through motors and thats why im doing this complete build taking care of every issue ive ever had in the past getting rid of them or strengthening their qualities so i dont have mishaps or stupid things happen.

Thanks for the comments guys, I might be pulling the motor and painting the bay tonight when i get home from work. So ill update with some more pics later.
