technically the turbo i have is rated for about 490whp safely, If i can hit 450whp id be plenty happy, My goal is 450-500 so im keeping it broad. I know an o2 induction mani would have topped it all off but there have been none up for sale since ive started. Except one and it was gone within an hour of the post for sale.

Neways 450whp is plenty achievable with this setup. Trust me if i can burn the tires till 125mph on the streets on a worn out 160k mile stock block with stock cams engine i think this one can do better. Hahaha

i think it will be just fine. If i can hit a high 10 sec pass ill be good to go for a while. I could possibly do it with less than 20lbs of boost as well. Hell if a full interior nx2k with about the same size turbo and no cams can hit an 11.4@126mph i think my 2k lb sentra on say 16-18lbs can hit a high 10. That is my initial goal, if i can hit that, the lower the boost the better of course but i figure i should only need 380-400whp to hit a 10 second pass in that light of a car. I want to enjoy this motor for a long long time so im not just going to go full out on it. Ill dyno it and see what i make at different levels of boost and thats it but as far as running it at the track ill start low and work my way up.

Sweet. Meziere water pump is good stuff. I have one in my car and it was daily driven for about a year and a few months before i got a new daily driver. As long as you dont try to pull a tuning god move like BenFenner you should be fine (with your motor).

When do you expect to be done with the build? Cant wait to see videos.

hopefully by this weekend so i can start doing breakin miles. As long as everything gets here i should be done this weekend. The only thing i really think thats gonna hold me back is finding a trans. We might go on friday to get one and as long as we find one then cool i should definitely have it done. Ill probably do around 500-1000 miles of mixed city and highway driving for breakin which should take me roughly a week to do with my work being so far away. Neways im about to take some more pics, Just got done pulling the motor out of the car which took me all of 40 minutes to do. Damn i have that down. haha. Ive been transfering the last few things onto the motor that i need. Still got some stuff to finish transfering over.

Im also having a problem, I think greg sent me the wrong pulley. He sent me a vvl pulley and it will not fit over the gtir oil pump housing on the back part of the pulley. I need to give him a call tommorrow to have him send me a gtir aluminum pulley. I think we just got mistaken since i originally wanted the vvl oil pump.

Oh well crap happens. Ill post up some more pics in a bit of the car 3 feet in the air. haha. Gonna tow it down the block to the local self serve car wash to get all the oil from the blown motor off the car and off the undercarrage. Then it will be ready to paint the bay.

yep looking foward to it. Got it from a fellow forum member on here. Had i known he was gonna give me the blockoff plate i wouldnt have ordered one from mazworx. $42 bucks down the drain, haha Unless someone wants one. Hit me up
