Some issues I'm having
We'll I duno what is really going on so I thought I'd post a video up and see if anyone has any ideas. I have a AEM Wideband and it's reading all sorts or weird things. Especially at idle it's reading off the charts 18+. I think I do have a boost/Vacuum leak somewhere, I just need to make a tester to find out where. But could a leak alone have this sort of effect. My vacuum seems good :/ And at WOT it's reading like 10.0 sometimes.
Any Input will be helpful, thanks!

Get rid of it and buy a better wideband.

I had the same problem with mine and it had me chasing ghosts for months. Turns out that the controller just isn't as good as it should be.

I paid $200 for it, I don't have the money to buy a new one. I've never really heard of any problems with these before. What could cause the car to run that lean at idle?

If U Had Vaccuum Leak It Owuld Run Rich Rather Then Lean... So Start Form There .. Also Track Bavck To The Wiring Of The Wideband.. Sh1tty Work Tends To Give Sh1tty Signals .. Dont Take Offense To That

The one in my old car does that too. It might be a ground issue I would check that.

Yeah it's cool, I'll try regrounding it tonight. You think not having a good ground through the exhaust could cause something like this?

Well tried regrounding it, and it didn't really help....Anyone got any other ideas?

Is this new behavior?
It could easily be a fouled O2 sensor. Sometimes they recover, sometimes not.

eh I duno how it could've fouled. I did have it sitting out of the bunch when I pulled the tranny and turbo for a week. Anyway to clean it?

And as far as new behavior it's been working on and off. First put in it worked fine. 14-15 at idle and cruise 12's at wot cuz of the boost i was running. Just kinda went downhill from there I guess.

But is there a reason it could be working and I am running these air/fuels ?

I'm also having some like backfiring issues, I retarded the timing a coupler degrees it helped a bit But I don't think it should be where it's at. And also once in awhile the vacuum will die down to like 15 instead of 20 and it'll act like it wants to stall.

Were is the wideband sensor mounted? Most of the time this is the issue. If there was a ground issue the gauge would not start up or go on and off.
