Best clutch I have ever used, plus they have a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty. Not stiff at all compared to the ACT and holds 500+whp.

I'm running the stage 1 exedy pp and an act unsprung 6 puck and it drives ok after you get used to it. Makes cute chattering noises that scare people when it's cold.

Exedy stg 2 thin.

A stronger PP def helps it keep from slipping even with a softer material clutch. If you want power you gotta compromise something. Either drivability or power, there is happy medium, but you still gotta trade off some comfort for power holding capability.

I loved the exedy stg 2 thin, but it is not $275 bux.

Thin is great for DD and road race/auto-x. Get regular thickness if DD and dragin.

Thats not really true, my pressure plate is just a Type1 pressure plate with a 6 puck and it is softer than stock but holds 245wtq launching on slicks at 6000rpm.

That would be my other choice for a softer high performance clutch.

im not saying that it isnt possible, but they do make pressure plates to have higher holding capacities for a reason tho...if you want to run a less holding pressure plate and it works for you than good.

What I am saying is that a stiffer clutch pedal does not necessarily mean a harder clamping force from the pressure plate.

correct. i really feel it is up to the user at hand. i have a stage 4 clutch and i dont really feel its that bad. its aggressive yes but as far as pedal feel it really isnt that bad
