Thread: S14/S15 RWD cams on a FWD

I have a set of RWD S14/S15 Brian Crower Stage 3 cams that I never used and I guy is interested in them for his FWD application he is running with a T60-1 turbo. He is getting Supertech Springs and Retainers as well. Is this at all possible, I think it also has the shorter dowel pin as well. This is for an AWD B13 avenir conversion currently down for upgrades.

rwd cams do work in fwd application switch the dowel pins to the shorter fwd one, or have it cut down. i know cuz i am using tomei rwd cams in my car at the moment.

I know they work but I am asking about S14/S15 cams in specific, not S13 cams. Remember S14/S15 have the VCT and require a solid cam, BC said these cams are designed for the solid setup.

I assume you'll have to get the notch cut into the end of the exhaust cam to drive the FWD distributor. Other than that they'd work.
