where you trying to get the cam caps to bottom down by tightening the bolts down? That is a big no no. Also check to see if your torque wrench is calibrated right and that you did the cam bolts in order and to spec.

I wasnt even torque them down.just screwing the bolts in.

how do i get the cam to seat al the way?

Just follow the FSM instructions, you have to do it slowly and in small increments everytime.

did you tighten the bolts with the lobe pointing up first?

Really be care the order you put those caps on.....Wr;ong order, and you have the outcome. You need to pay attention where the valves are, if you tightened down the wrong one you were creating a bow effect which will easily snap a camshaft, and this could be with just nonchalantly putting them in

so tighten the part with the valve up first?do anyone have the fsm
