yeah i know it will not fit ill be making an adapter plate for it or work something out. i know a few ppl that have water jet machince that dont charge a arm and a leg and a freind is doing all the welding and custom downpipe for free.

well i just want to have a fresher motor when i do the turbo set up. i mean my car does have 148k miles but it was driven by a old guy who bought it new in 94. ill also be changing the oil pump and water pump and timing chain as well since its going to be apart as well. That way i it was done right and everything is ok and working with no porblems.

I would say that you are over-complicating this, spend your money on a better and simpler turbo kit rather than freshening up the motor you have. You will be surprised how well a 148k mile ga will take boost. Leave the head gasket and the timing chain & oil pump if they are still ok, do a water pump and leave the engine in the car as it sits plus turbo kit. I think you will have better results this way and less headaches.

I would recommend a stock nissan t25 or t28. The ebay turbos arent exactly the best thing to use, i have seen many terrible things happen to them. besides i think even a standard t3/t4 would have a bit to much lag for what you want to do with the car. I think the t25 or t28 turbos are great all around units, and can be had relitively cheap. That turbo manifold in the for sale section looks good, i would think about buying that if you can to simplify things. Here is a list of what i would do if i was trying to buy a cheap reliable set up.

T25 or t28
ga16 cast manifold in turbo for sale section
custom downpipe
vrs 2.5" or 3" exhaust
nissan 370cc injectors
apexi safc
stock maf
good oil and water lines/fittings
autometer boost and oil pressure gauges
aem wideband
new oem water pump
ebay fmic w ebay piping or have a muffler shop make the piping, you could also most likely make a 200sx ser or sentra ser i/c and piping set up work.

Thats pretty much all you need to get it up and going. if something breaks or you get bored with it you can always upgrade to something bigger.

I would do:

T25
T25 manifold
Small to medium eBay intercooler
Ic piping (just get some random tubes and couplers)
2.5" exhaust
Some good Clutch
Safc + wideband for tuning on the go
Probably some 250-300 injectors
Stainless lines
And keep the boost round 8 - 10 Psi that should do for a fun ga16de+t

There are some turbo gas here in Mexico...... Probably wanna ask in NipponPower.com.mx some guys there have turbo gas..... They've got an English section

i already have the sr20 just waiting for some money so i can invest on eagle rods and weisco pistons plus all the machining and assembling of the motor and head. the SR20 that i will be building will not be a cheap or half ass motor it will be a GT35R monster on the streets. just hope the trannys can hold up.

yeah i just want to be around 160 maybe 200hp MAX but we will see the guy who is going to tune is an amazing tuner so that is going to help alot. i already told him today that im going to bring him the car in about a month and i want a nice DD safe tune for all temp ( live in nj get hot and cold weather)

thanks for all the imput guys and help.

Stromung, VRS, or pacesetter.

Or the ebay brands if you want to go really cheap. The pace setters fit very well for the price. Some say the muffler on their catback is too quiet, but i think it sounds good on my maxima, its a nice deep tone and doesnt drone or resonate while driving at a steady rpm. The vrs systems are nice as well i have one on my nx, and my g20.

Wes pretty much listed them price from high to low stromung being the best according to most. LOL
