I have had a set of the T1-S and T1-R; and for rain, performance, ride, and noise quality it has to be one of my favorite tires.

Used them on the 3-series and the VR-4 when I had them and they are amazing...

Update!
Looking at a set of wheels for a good price, but they are 17x8 with a 38 mm offset. I don't want any rubbing issues and I don't want to get a tire with the stretch look. So 215/45 17 good, or 225/45 17???????

The Proxes 4 are All Season tires. The T1R is a Summer tire. I have had both and the T1R is much better than the Proxes 4 on dry AND wet roads (I was in Houston when tropical storm Erin hit and the T1R's were amazing).

Well played My bad. I thought my Proxes 4's were 280. Could have sworn that's what I saw on the tire. You're right though, they're all season, not summer tires.

They still stick VERY well, and feel great. I'd imagine that the T1R's are just more sticky, and have more contact patch for even more traction...

You have a helmet requirement for 13.999 and lower ET's? Damn you must have a lot of slow cars where you're at

Hey man why dont you try out my tire setup first see how you like it.. I have 205/50/15 bfg drag radials up front and 205/50/15 bfg kdws in the rear.. I was really happy with this setup. They are mounted on b14 wheels if you want to try them out. I am not driving the car right now so you are free to test if you want just let me know

I have a 15x7 41mm offset set of wheels as my track wheels with the Tein SS coilovers. They dont rub at all with 215/45/15.

What up, I tried calling you a few weeks back. How did you like the snow today? I'm actually not driving my car now either till it gets warmer. I'm just looking for some tires (maybe rims to put on it before I start driving it again) I'm in the B13 for now.
