Thread: My brethren, I need your assistance badly

Well, this may have been a false alarm, at least on the second turbo. It appears that the blue smoke I was seeing (if it was even blue) after installing it was residue in the exhaust burning off. After talking with some locals and doing more research I let the car idle from cold to operating temp a few times, and I just went out and drove it; I now can't find/see/smell any evidence of burning oil.

Keep your fingers crossed folks, I'm hoping it continues to behave.

This is a guarded prognosis right now. I won't trust it until I've done it another time or two.
