Thread: Gtir valve cover gasket

I just received a valve cover gasket from Greg V for my Gti-r motor and I was told it was the same gasket as all the other sr20 motors. I noticed there is a separate part number for the Gti-r gasket, but Greg V said the one he sent would work. I know he is a good guy, but i just want to make sure before i try to put this on. I don't want to get stuck and not be able to drive my car for a week. So are they the same? Thanks guys.

well considering that the GTI-R valve cover fits fine on the sr20de, I would say you will be just fine.
